Brendon Gordon Architecture Ltd was established in Tauranga in 1996 by Brendon Gordon following the completion of a Bachelor of Architecture Degree Started at Victoria University and completed at Auckland University.
Armed with considerable engineering and architectural drafting experience prior to academic study and practical site experience, which included constructing sets for Downstage Theatre, establishing an independent practice was a natural transition.
Initial commissions were mainly residential projects, their scope including integrated interiors and landscaping design. This gradually expanded to include townhouses, apartment buildings and commercial projects. Today Brendon Gordon Architecture Ltd is a well-established and respected practice for good residential and commercial architecture.
Driven by a keen interest in the local environment and urban design, Brendon Gordon has recently entered a dialogue with Tauranga City Council to investigate and prepare material for future planning initiatives for the region. The proposed City Living Zone involved testing sites architecturally to qualify the proposed district plan rules.

Born in the UK and emigrating to NZ in 1995, the Bay is the place for Jon. Where else can Jon go to the snow and get to the beach in the same day!
Jon graduated with the National Diploma in Architectural Technology in 2000. After Jons' studies he gained valuable experience with architectural firm in the Bay before moving to BGA in 2004, now, Brendon can't get rid of him!
Jon finds being involved in a project from sketch to completion is very satisfying and rewarding. Jon enjoys working with clients and producing a product that is as good as it gets!

Since 2006, I've been employed with Brendon Gordon Architecture Ltd as the token Dane and Architectural Designer.
Before and after graduating with a Master Degree in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003, I've worked with a number of Danish architects gaining experience mainly within residential architecture.
My strong passion for the outdoors had poor living conditions in Denmark, so it became an obvious choice to move to The Sunny BOP. In 2005 my husband and I settled in Tauranga and now consider this as our Home.
Being part of creating a Home is such a privilege. Especially in a country like New Zealand where an indoor-outdoor flow really makes sense. It's a playground and I'm loving it!
